"Just dropping a note to all of you for making my relocation to the left coast manageable. It was rough one for sure... Between the dodgy fuel pump and other mechanical woes on my trip 3,000K mile trek from Michigan via Seattle, my '73tii could not be in better hands. Thank you ever so much for fitting me into your schedule the first time, and again for remedying the challenges with all the other "not-so-good" upgrades by the previous mechanic. My '73tii, "Orange Julius," has never been in better health or tune. But wait, there's more!!! My '74tii daily driver, "Mae West" is one of your longer-term projects that is slowly turning into a "silk purse." I struggled with the notion of buying her until I took a drive...and well...I just got hooked. The engine purrs and the suspension setup is like riding on rails -- a joy for commuting up and down the peninsula on I-280 or blasting down Skyline Blvd. The eventual five-speed will transform this one from an "aim-and-squirt pocket rocket" to a "Teutonic Gran Tourismo Omologato.""
